OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG
OK, even though I’ve promised myself I WOULD NOT get excited over anything Twilight movie related anymore, they’ve actually put out a sneak peak into the film and I squeed A LOT. They showed the car scene, which isn’t quite what I pictured, as well as the ballet room scene (I won’t say anymore about that, because I don’t want to give it away). BUUUT, wtf are the vamps flying? I know they’re not literally flying, but they ‘re jumping really high, with their arms in the air, which looks like flying.. and some newbies might be confused and assume it’s flying. Either way, I want to be excited about this film in a good way, but it looks like the scenes in general are being changed a bit. And wtf does James have BLONDE hair?! I thought he was a brunette.. unless I read it all wrong.
..And I cannot believe I’m about to say this, but Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart don’t look that bad..

Weirdly, that video actually made me feel less excited about the movie. It all looks….I don’t know how to explain it. Maybe I just don’t have enough imagination to see that as the final output.

I read the first Twilight book last weekend, and I must say I loved it! I’m starting the second one now and now I eagerly anticipate the film, seeing everything that was filmed (esp the MTV footage) looks basically how I imagined! I think I screamed a little inside… I did watch it 4 times - OMG Insane
so I think my fangirl side is breaking into this fandom. LOL I can’t imagine how people who have been fans for a while felt when they watched!
Don’t get worked up over the blonde hair… thats not a big deal, I think as long as the actor does a decent enough job and the others are casted thats more important
BUT I fucking hate that Cam dude… so yeah lol
PS: I know you are all Gaspard & Emily crazy but they seem so wrong for this movie. Gaspard IS more attractive than Robert, but still I don’t think he was right heh *ducks in cover*. Emily isn’t bad but she is not at all what I pictured. I think Kristen is PERFECT and I think she will do a good job and not be “so cheesey” like any old actress because she is so very talented and more subtle. Nikki I do like from her other films but I agree with the majority she isn’t the best choice for this, I do like her and since Rosalie wasn’t in THAT much of the first book (don’t know about the others though) I can look past this. I think she is okay enough for me not to be taken out of the film

Mycah: Ahaa, I’m glad you’ve gotten yourself into the fandom now. It’s crazy addictive, so brace yourself lol.
The snippet of the meadow scene has me squeeing like a pig lol!!! That was, by far, my favorite scene. But to see what I’ve read and loved for so long now.. jeez, it really gets me going. Even though I’m going to be picking at all the scenes, I’m still going to see this movie (even though I swore to my friend that I would boycott it after the Rosalie casting).
LOL well, the blonde hair is just freaking me out.. because it’s such an odd change. Just like Laurent now being black, it’s all so weird and different from the book. I guess I’ll have to get used to it now..
Well, I’ve fought about this Dream!Team and ChosenOnes issue so many times lol. I guess, seeing as how I’ve imagined my Bella and Edward as Gaspard and Emily for so long, it’s hard to break that.. but I guess now, I’m going to have to get over it. I knew from the very beginning to not ever expect Gaspard to actually have the role, but in terms of looks, he was perfect in my imagination. I did hear, that Emily was almost cast but she was too expensive for them. It would have been amazing to actually see her as Bella, but now that will never happen lol. I’ve never liked Kristen, I don’t know why.. but in every movie I saw her in, I just didn’t like her. I don’t think I’ve ever completely accept her for the role, but what can I do, right? lol. To me, she looks opposite of what I pictured Bella, a bit too much on the skinny side. Actually, Rosalie looks a bit better now that I see the makeup and what not on her but it’s still strange to me that they would cast her. Obviously, being as close to the book as possible isn’t their first priority lol.
And happy reading, the next 2 books aren’t nearly as good as the first, but New Moon had me depressed and in tears, and Eclipse had me laughing and crying lol.
